Items in this announcement are:
1) Webpage
2) Contact email for pack leaders
3) Mailing list
4) Show and Sell date changed to 10/3
5) Updating contact information for members
6) Den leaders - please let us know who you are!

1) Webpage
The webpage is live! Please check it out. We will be updating it frequently with details of events and other information. Share it with your friends and potential new members. If you find issues please let us know by emailing Scouts384+Webmaster@gmail.com
See the site here: https://sites.google.com/site/cubscoutspack384/home

2) Contact email for pack leaders
You can contact the pack leadership via the Scouts384@gmail.com email address. If you need information about the pack events that you can’t find via the group or on the webpage, you can email us at that address and one of the pack leaders will respond. Please share this address freely with potential members so they can reach out to us for information.

3) Mailing list
You should all have received an invite to the Scouts Pack 384 Mailing list group. Please accept that invitation. Starting very soon, we will no longer be emailing you all directly. If you did not receive the invite, please let us know ASAP so we can make sure you get added. The only way you will receive notifications of events, changes etc. going forward will be via the group mailing list, or by checking the announcements on the webpage here:
https://sites.google.com/site/cubscoutspack384/home
or here:
https://sites.google.com/site/cubscoutspack384/home/discussion-group

4) Show and Sell date changed to 10/3
The Show and Sell date has moved from 10/4 to 10/3 to avoid conflicting with the Dan Scharfman Race. Details are on the webpage here: https://sites.google.com/site/cubscoutspack384/calendar

5) Updating contact information for members
Since we now are moving to a “broadcast” and self service means of communication, it’s super important we have the correct email addresses for everyone. I will probably send a survey out to collect up to date information. In the meantime, if we’re using the wrong email address for you, or you see that we’re using the wrong email address for another member please let us know.

6) Den Leaders
If you are a Den Leader, please email the Scouts384@gmail.com address to let us know so we can get you started. We will be creating an outline of den-specific activities to help you, and placing these materials on the website so you can easily access them.

You will notice some changes in the way we go about Pack business over the next several months and we are pretty sure they will be changes for the better.  Our hope is that you can (eventually) rely on the website as your main source of information about our Scout program.

In the near future, our leaders will post stories and update their calendars and some other nifty tricks to keep everyone at the top of their game. Please give them some leeway as the changes go into effect and everything starts smoothing out.  It might get a little rocky before it gets smooth.

We think you are going to like the changes.  This website is already packed with features and when we get in a groove at the leadership level it will be even better.

If you'd like to contribute let us know.  You can start at the "Strong Leaders" section.
